I found out my Grandpa Hildebrandt passed away. It is super hard to think about that, but it is also very joyful thing to think about it. It is hard because yeah IT SUCKS! I won’t get to see my grandpa for a long time, I won’t get to joke around with him, I won’t be able to chat and hear about the glory days with the great Pete Maravich and Chuck Yeager, I won’t be able to catch a thrown can of chocolate weight loss drink that he would always give me, I won’t be able to look up in the cowards and see my grandpa cheering me on, I won’t get to steal his Indian Jones hat and wear it thinking one day I’ll be like him. But with that said, I do have his name written in me, I will live my life to honor him and his name, I will treat my wife, my kids, my grandkids, and everyone else like he did. I will joke around with them, I’ll tell about my glory days, I will be the hand throwing the can, I’ll be that fan in the coward for them, and I will be that man who smiles when I see my grandkid wearing my Indian Jones hat and thinks I hope he will be better than me one day, then in a few years when it is my time, I can go running into his arms and look up at his smile and say I love you grandpa. Because I have the knowledge that he is a better place, I know that he will always be with me, in the stories that I tell about him, the thoughts and memories I have of him, when I read or watch Shakespeare haha, and in spirit. My grandpa had a strong a testimony of this gospel and I know he came to know and meet the savior in this life and it makes me smile that now he gets to see him. I just want to say and bare that I loved my grandpa. And I still love him. He has had a huge impact in my life. Like his son, my dad always say “be a warrior for the lord.” that means fight for him, fight for his commandment, fight for what he suffered and died for, and most important fight with him. That is what my grandpa did, great example in my life and all the others who had the privilege to know him. He also had a sweet jet airplane rocking chair haha. Love you Grandpa, until we see each other again.

you are amazing and I am sorry for your lose. But keeping hanging in there and in 1 ½ years ill come and give you a big ole shea hug!! Love you!!
okay my week!! and sorry we didnt have time on saturday to write because of a service project that we did so i am writting through out today when i have time!! okay okay!!
So on Saturday we went paintballing I have never went paintballing in my life and we go to this one place and it is just this soccer field with these blown up things in it and we played 4 vs 4 and it was the funniest thing ever!! I actually really really like it!! And I am not trying to brag or nothing but I was super good at it!! It was like laser tag!! Man I love laser tag!! I can’t wait to go home and go laser tagging!! But yeah and also I gave elder Webb my sister’s email and they are now writing each other!!
Also yesterday the weirdest two things happen within 3 secs of each other! So we were walking to an appointment and we were at the main street and a lady stopped us and not lying she was crack head! She told us we are the life of this world and then she said you guys give life too, and started kissing us on the hand and arms , and I enjoy getting kissed on the hand and arm by crazy lady’s in the street as much as the next guy but yeah we made like a banana and left (split haha it was a joke okay) and then within like 10 secs a dude yells elders, we stop and he catches up to us and says I am a drunk and I have no money for food please help so my comp gives him a sol (33 cents in the states) he started crying and was like you are good boys but you are damned you guys go around sharing a false book you think you know the savior but you don’t you don’t. I know you guys go around trying to help people but I am trying to help you because you are good people and I know you guys don’t believe in god, and in the bible says we are saved by our faith not by our works (FLASE, Other way around buddy) idk I have only been mad twice in my mission and this was the 2nd time. After his dumb rant I just said okay how our invitation is to pray to heavenly father about this, and I know you’ll receive an answer, dropped my microphone and walked away. It is hard to have someone to come up to you and just say that. Glad I have a testimony of these things, the best example I could make out of this is a dude comes up you and starts saying I know you think that 2+2=4 but you are wrong and stupid because 2+2= Underpants. Haha man……. Love these experiences!
Sunday was super fun but also I was so tired that whole day!! I hate that feeling!! When you know you have to be awake but you are fighting the urge to sleep!! Ugh it is just the worst because even when you are a awake you don’t comprehend anything!! But 2nd hour with princles of the gospel we taught the class and it was just awesome!! I love teaching!! Okay the funny parts of the day!! First, right after church we were walking and I saw this old lady walking and she was trying to get into a taxi so I stopped and helped her and she couldn’t see me at all because she was walking face down! And then when she was finally in the taxi she looked up at me and said “OOOOOOOWWWW your not arequipan!! Where are you from” “ the united states” “oh I love the USA haha” hahah soo funny!!
2nd we rang the door bell on one of are investagators house and then out of no where a huge bucket of water comes and falls on me!! Not my comp, only me!! So I was SOAKED!! Haha we looked up and no one was there!! Hahah man I was cold the rest of the day!!
3rd we were teaching this old man named luis who is just a funny old man who can seriously talk for 2 hours straight!! But we taught him yesterday and he was wearing his bathrobe and nothing more and I asked why didn’t you come to church “oh because I this itch on my leg” lifted up his leg and showed us…… oh luis….. the itch was on his upper thigh. But he was talking about this one nurse who helped him in the hostipal, she is a member and she is the reason we are teaching him. But yeah he talked forever about her about how wonderful she is!! And then he said “yeah she is more then a friend to me!” and my comp asked “oh is she your frekara (Crush, lover,girlfriend)” which he responded “oh YES” hahahha cracked me up!!
