Saturday – so Saturday was a good day, it had its ups and its down but all and all it was a good day!! So what went down is I woke up and cleaned the house instead of going to the gym then after that elder Moreno, Acosta, and I all went and got our hair cut and the lady who did my hair cut did a good job not a great one! Not like my mama but a good one!! But after that we went to the office and I only got to write for a about a hour and then we went and ate lunch with a member and that was cool!! The people here are just so awesome and I love it!! So they just made this awesome food for us and they didn’t eat until after us! And wow they are just so awesome and giving!! I need to be more like that in my life! But then we had the baptism of Rodrigo andrè eguileta Ortega! He is a 12 year old boy and is taller and bigger then me and also just amazing!! He is super super smart for his age and every lesson with him I saw in his eye how much he was starting to understand and gain a testimony! But I was lucky to baptize him and so we had the ceremony and then I dunked him and then we he gave his testimony…. Wow I have never felt the spirit so strongly in my mission!! Then at the end we had our desserts!! I made chocolate chip cookies and everyone loved it!! Haha
Sunday – Sunday was pretty normal nothing crazy happened just that elder Moreno and I have been have a little contention between us and then on Sunday boom we had a little argument and talked things out and then we are all good after that!! But his knee is killing him!! And he is really in a lot of pain every day and I think he needs to talk to president and maybe needs to go home! I don’t want him to but his knee is not going to get better on the mission it is only going to get worse!! So yeah go home get it worked on and then come back when you can go 100%. I know that is not ideal but it is probably what needs to happen!! I don’t know!!
Monday – hmmm let me think about Monday!! So Monday was a good day!! Just worked in the office got stuff done and then I was so ready to leave at 5 to go out and work but elder Moreno came in and asked what are all the lessons we have that are for sure, and I told him at 6 and 8 and he said okay cause my knee is killing and I don’t want to go out until 6…….. ugh okay it is alright, so I just read the liahona for a hour and then we went out!! And had a lesson with Rodrigo!! Man I am super excited to show my family all these wonderful people in my life!! But yeah in the night I called up elder olsen and we talked for like a hour and oh man do I miss him!! He is such a good guy and I miss our time together!! And I know I will feel the same way about elder Moreno when we are awitched!! But yeah that is all!!
Wednesday – so Wednesday was pretty chill, so all this week i have been supèr duper bored in the office cause I really have not that much to do this week!! So on Wednesday I was trying so hard to figure out adobe illustrator and I was at it for over 3 hours cause I have to make the bulletin for my mission and I know if I had my brother Rhett with me, he could do it in like 5 mins but I was struggling without him! So finally I had enough of it and got up and walked to the window and opened it up and just stuck my head out and relaxed for a little! (I do that daily! I like the office but holy cow I hate being in a building for 6 hours a day!! It is the worst, I need to get out and breathe!) But yeah after when we were out teaching, all our lessons fell through so around 7 we went to this one family who are members but they have the cousins staying with them for summer and 2 of them are recent converts and the other is not a member so we taught the one who wasn’t a member and the lesson we had with her was amazing we talked about the Love our savior has for us. Because she is 22 and has a kid who is 5 and her boy doesn’t want to get married to her and he hates the church (what a catch!!) so we told her how jesus has so much love for her and all that he has done for her and how she should have that same love with her husband, so if this guy can give you that love and encourage her to do what’s right and become a better person she should stay with him but if not, dump that boy and find a new one!! Awesome lesson!!
Thursday – so Thursday in the morning after I got showered and made myself all pretty I went into the kitchen to start cooking and when I went in there I noticed, holy crap, there is a butt load of flies!! So I grabed a washing towel and started going ham, I probably killed over 30 flies, with my bare hands and a towel!! Haha so that is how the day started and then after in the office I just got done wrapping some boxes to ship out and I had a hankering for some brocolii and ranch so I went into prez office to get some and right before I poured the ranch I saw in the corner of my eye lotion!!! Haha so being the silly jokester as I am, I went over and grabbed it and squirted it on the plate with my brocolii and then I went into the other elders office and asked them if they wanted a little snack!! And they were like heck yeah!! And they grabbed that broccoli and dipped it in the ranch(lotion) and took a big bite!! And after like 2 secs there taste buds kicked in and they asked if the ranch was old and I started dying and told them It was lotion!! Oh man I am too funny sometimes!! Haha jk jk!!
Friday – so on Friday I left the house 5 mins before my comp and I went with 2 other elders and we went into the office and then when my comp came he brusted into the room and started yelling at me and saying that comps should always be together and all this other garbage and I was just sitting listening to him and I thought man I could just burn him and say you know what yesterday you went with other elders to eat lunch with out me and just shut him down or I could just say your right, it is a rule that we need to be together. So I sucked up my pride and little bit more and said sorry!! And then the rest of the day was super good!! We all have chances to deiced two things!! But when we try to act like Christ and understand our wrong doings and not the wrong doings of others our lives are happier!! That is a thing I struggle with a lot because heck I am pridefull and I am a sinner but I have the antoment and I have a strong love of the savior and I want to better the parts where I lack!! Also we had a multi zone conference with elder Montoya!! He is a super cool dude!! I really love hearing from the leaders of the church!!
Saturday – I PLAYED AMERICAN BASEBALL IN PERU!!! Haha there is a investigator of the asistances and he plays baseball for the national peru baseball team!! And on Saturday we played a pick up game on a soccer field!! ( there is nothing close to a baseball field here) we had teams of 9 vs 8 and oh geez these guys were not that good!! Haha it was just the best playing with them!! Because holy cow they really do love playing baseball!! At the end of the game on dude came up and asked me to come play for the Arequipa baseball team!! Haha I said thanks but I cant!! Haha I believe there are about 9 or 8 teams in all of peru!! Haha but it was the best pday ever!!!
1. Jeffery R Holland - I have always loved hearing his talks growing up and he is just a awesome public speaker and I love his testimony
2. Talking at night - I love how after a nice long day of work I can go home and relax and laugh and joke around with 5 other elders
3. Colton Thomas fairbourn - haha he is my best friend and I love all our conversations together and how we are both out here in the work and I love looking back at all the funny things we did together and I am excited for after the mission to chill with him again!
4. My body - It is super cool and interesting to think of how strong are bodies are and how they can do some amazing things and then it is beyond cool how we are made after god our father.
5. Living in the now – I always get caught up think about how life will be so cool in the future that sometimes we forget that right now is when we are supposed to live it.
6. Funny handshakes – I always do funny handshakes with members or investigators and I love it!!
7. Pulling funny pranks – as you can tell with the broccoli!
8. Oranges – they taste good, they are good for ya, it is kinda fun pealing them.
9. My watch – I love my watch!! I am super glad I have it, now I think I will always wear a watch for the rest of my life!
10. Water – if we didn’t have it we would die sucker!!
11. Obispito – he works for our mission and I go out with him all the time to get packages and send them! He is a super funny guy!
12. Loving when It is so hard to – I am not going to lie on my mission it is hard to be around someone for 24 7 and not have your disagreements come infront of you!! Gosh it is hard to love them at that point and I think it is even harder when you know you are wrong and have to go to them to tell them sorry I was wrong!!
13. My dad – he is the most hard working dude I know and the most loving too!! I have no doubt in saying that I know that my dad would do anything for me or my family in a heart beat! He is the greatest man I know and I love him so much!!
14. Traveling – when I get back from the mission I want to travel the world!!
15. Newsies soundtrack – man is is so good!! I jam out to it!!
16. Jaasmyn – she is one of the strongest girls I know, she is my bestfriend and holy cow she has accomplished so much in only 22 years almost 23 years!! Love you my little sister!!
17. Going to the bathroom – it is not a waste of time!!
18. Funny little jokes – I love telling funny dumb little jokes just to get a little smile!!
19. JAROM my bestfriend!! – he is the man, I cant wait to go home and chill with him again!! He is on of the best people I know and he gets BUCKS!!
