Sorry this is a lame email this week!! sorry i was busy and didnt write to much!! NEXT WEEK WILL BE BETTER!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!
Saturday – so for P day it was very very basic!! Didn’t do much just kinda relaxed which is always nice to do!! I am not going to lie. But after p day was over we went on splits with elder Matheson and Acosta and I was with elder Acosta and oh boy the night made me mad!! So our lesson got canceled so we went to a less active member that sometimes we teach and oh goll this lady was frustrating!! So we taught them and we just wanted her to go to church the next day so after the lesson I kept on challenging her to go to church and she kept on giving me excuses and so I kept on saying no and breaking down her excuse!! And then finally after like 20 times of asking her and her giving me crap I just said tell my the truth do you want to go to church and she said no and I asked do you have a desire to know the if this church is the true church and she just said no. so I said okay, look I cant make you do anything, I am here because I know it is true and I want to help other people but if you don’t want help I wont give it! But know that this is the true church and anytime you want to know you can come talk to us!! It was a super sad lesson!!
Sunday – so in the morning we had a baptism and it was the best!! It is this old lasy who is 76 years old and she had her grandson baptize her and it was just wonderful and after the baptism we talked to her and all she could say was thank you thank you thank you and she was just the cutest!! Rosa Estela is her name!!
Tuesday – Tuesday the new missionaries came and not going to lie it was super kinda lame. Cause only three Hermana’s came and we didn’t do all the fun things we usually to with a big group and we didn’t eat at the mission house, we went to this nasty pollo a la brasa place and I don’t know but I really don’t like that stuff. Idk I love Peru but a lot of their food is not my favorite!! Haha it is all so grease!! But anyways Tuesday in the night was fun, so our last appointment we went to the family sumariende and their family is huge!! This is the family who we had a baptism of their grandmamma!! Haha but in their house they have the parents and 4 kids 1 boy Eric who is 20 and a returned missionary and super super cool!! And then next is Eva (16) Juliana (15) and then the next one I forget her name but she is 10 and then they have their cousins that live there 3 girls and one of them has a son who is 5 and then grandma Rosa!! Haha but we had a little goodbye lesson with them cause the cousins and grandma are going back to equador and Eric and Eva are going to Utah to study!! So it was cool to be with all of them one more time!!
Thankful list is pretty small too!! sorry
1. High school Musical – I will always be a big fan of high school musical, it was my childhood. I love the songs and Zac Efron is the man!!
2. Funny times with my sister Jasmyn - I love my sister Jasmyn and I love all the fun things we do together but one memory just popped into my mind when I was driving her home and we had a gold fish in the car with us and we got pulled over because her car back head lights were out so when the officer came over to us we just talked and it was just a funny situations cause I think I was wearing a headband and a tank top and hold a gold fish in one of my hands!! Idk doesn’t really sound that funny writing it, but gosh dang it, it was!!
3. Working out in the afternoon - I hate waking up early and working out!! I like it so much more in the afternoon!!
4. Memorizing and learning new words - I like do that idk much more to say.
5. U of A – I love my wildcats and I will always be a fan of them if I go there or not. But it is one of my highest choices!!
6. Lotion – every day I put on lotion and it feels so much better!!
7. THE USA – o my gosh I am so thankful to live in the greatest country ever!! The United States really is the best!!
8. Working through trails – it is hard ask heck at points but the lord always give you enough to make it through!
9. My mama – oh how I love my mama, she is the absoult best and I just want to be as giving, loving and charitable as her on day! She is a amazing example to me, and sometimes I miss her so much but there is not another place I would want to be then here, on my mission. Because my mama taught me right!!
10. My two pairs of shoes – so I almost have a year in my mission I am just missing 2 more month, but my shoes have been good and even though they might be starting to falling apart they have treated me well!!
